L-com Hyperlink AL-CAT6PW lightning and surge protector provides superior lightning and surge protection with improved frequency response for indoor 10/100/1000 Ethernet networks. The use of ultra-low capacitance semiconductors provides superior high frequency response and improved return loss for the four data pairs. The design uses high frequency transmission line layout techniques to maintain an optimum 100 ohms balanced impedance in the signal path. These techniques and the use of Ultra-Low Capacitance Protection Arrays provide superior high frequency response and improved return loss for the data pairs. In addition, the unit is compatible with 802.3af Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices. This unit features a weatherproof ABS enclosure with gasketed cover and concealed mounting holes. |
