Uses Cat 5 cable to connect the local and remote units(up to 300m apart)

Dual Console Operation-control your system form both the local and remote PS/2 keyboard,mouse,and monitor consoles.

Additional PC connection allowed for the remote unit.

Pushbutton selection -sequential selection between local and auto mode.

Two gain control modes provided for the sharpest video quality-adjustable or automatic.

Adjustable Gain Control-manually adjusts signal strength to compensate for distance.

OS Compatibility:DOS, WIN98, WIN ME, WIN NT, WIN 2K, WIN 2003, WIN XP and LINUX.

Automatic Gain Control-automatically adjusts signal strength to compensate for distance.

High video resolution-up to 1600 x 1200

Supports DDC2B for local monitor (display data channel for communication between graphic card and monitor).

Supports VGA,SVGA,and Multisync Monitors.

OS Compatibility:Dos 6.2+; Win95 or newer; Linux: Redhed 6.0 or newer, Mandrake 9.0 or newer, SUSE 8.2 or newer; FreeBSD 3.51 or newer; Netware 5.0 or newer; OS/2, AIX 4.3 or newer.

The CE252 allows access to your KVM installation through a local console,or a remote console placed up to a distance of 300m(1000') away. Both the local and remote units support PS/2 consoles. In addition to these features,the CE252 includes a convenient port at the remote unit to connect an extra computer. This allows the remote user to combine their desktop computer with the remote console for increase efficiency and productivity.
