- Returns Procedure
The steps outlined below are there to help you, should you find it necessary to return any items that he been sent to you on approval, in error or which fail to meet the requirements of your order: Returns must be notified and received at ITM Components Ltd ideally within 10 days following your receipt of product (max 21 days). Any products returned must be in a re-saleable condition & include the original packing and documentation.
STEP 1: CONTACT ITM TO OBTAIN AN "RA" NUMBER.
Contact ITM Components Sales Department by email or using the web site "Returns Procedure" contact form or call us on 01202 872771 to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number before returning product. Call between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday. Products returned without an RA number will be refused.
STEP 2: PACK THE PRODUCT SECURELY
Pack the Product(s) securely, wrapped or packaged and in an external carton.
Make sure you include a copy of the Packing List with your return.
Make sure you include your name address and a contact telephone number.
STEP 3: ADDRESS CLEARLY & MARK "RA" NUMBER
ON OUTSIDE OF PACKAGE
Clearly mark the outside of the package or carton with the ITM Components Ltd address, telephone number and RA number, as shown below. Please do not put the RA number on the "product" itself.

STEP 4: SEND YOUR PACKAGE CARRIAGE & INSURANCE PAID
TO - ITM COMPONENTS Ltd
The customer is responsible for all shipping charges for products returned under our Returns Procedure unless this has been specifically agreed and confirmed in advance. ITM will not accept responsibility for loss or damage of goods during return, please make sure that the insurance cover option is taken with the courier service provider.
STEP 5: ON RECEIPT AT ITM - PRODUCTS WILL BE INSPECTED
Upon receipt, all products will be inspected and at our discretion, credit may be refused or a restocking fee may be assessed. Our sales department will advise you.
Note: 1. Packages without an RA number on the outside will be refused.
2. Incomplete packages will not be accepted.
3. Please make sure the goods are insured during transit.

RETURNS
To return an item please follow the Step by Step Returns Procedure outlined above, clearly indicating the reason for return. We will issue you with a Returns Authorisation "RA" number that will enable us to process your return quickly and efficiently. You must obtain a Returns Authorisation number before sending anything back to us or we will not be able to process your return.
FAULTY OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If you receive an item in a faulty condition, we would ask that you return the item to ourselves using the "Returns Procedure" within 10 days of purchase and receipt. We will then arrange for a replacement to be sent to you as soon as possible We reserve our right under the "Distance Selling Regulations" to retain the costs of delivery where goods are returned for what ever reason
CHANGE OF HEART
Goods returned to us because of a change of heart must be unused and in perfect, re-saleable and sealed condition (including product packaging, instructions, etc). If you have ordered the wrong product, return the product unopened and in it's original re-saleable packaging for an exchange or a full refund of the product price. It the product purchased has been opened or the packaging seal broken, we reserve the right to charge a 10% re-stocking fee (excluding VAT) in the event that a product is returned that is not faulty. Postage and packing will not be refunded unless the goods are faulty
SOFTWARE
Any item which includes software only must be returned with the software unopened.
ITEMS LOST IN TRANSIT
We cannot be held responsible for packages returned to us and lost or damaged in transit. As you are responsible for returning the item(s) to us, we strongly recommend sending the package by Special Delivery (including insurance cover) or where appropriate by door to door courier service (including insurance cover).
REFUNDS, REPLACEMENTS & EXCHANGES
Refunds or replacements for items that are defective, faulty or as a result of a Change of Heart and sent back to ITM Components Ltd within 10 days, will be processed within 7 working days of receipt of the returned item(s) by ITM Components Ltd. A refund will be made in the same form of payment that was used to make the initial purchase.
Where an item is being replaced instead of the cost being refunded, item(s) that are returned to us that are not due to our error will have the return shipping costs deducted from the refund.
Please note, in all instances ITM Components Ltd shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages or expenses, including but not limited to lost profits or other economic or commercial losses. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
ITM Components Ltd takes it's relationship with it's customers very seriously. We try our best to ensure that the products we offer will fully meet your expectations. We aim to reply to emails within one working day of receipt, whether they're sales enquiries, support enquiries or hopefully very rarely complaints.
