ITM Components has an extensive range of Video Switches, Splitters, Extenders and Scalers. Video Matrix Switching systems interface and route multiple video sources - computers, cameras, DVD players to many remote outputs such as displays, monitors, projectors, and speakers. Outputs can be routed to different destinations, either using coax video cables or inexpensive CAT5/5e/6 cable. VGA & Audio Matrix Switchers are ideal for applications and use in classrooms, training and conference rooms. Video Extenders and DVI Extenders allow video extension between computer systems and display devices up to 300 meters. Fibre Optic Video Extenders can be used to cover distances over 2000 Meters. DVI (Digital Video Interface) switches enable HD digital signals to be switched between computers and video and displays. Due to the high signal integrity of DVI transmission it has been used widely in the video routing in home theatre installations. As the HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) switchers also carry the audio signals, in many cases HDMI is becoming the preferred choice for professional A/V and home theatre solutions. ITM Components offers a wide range of extenders covering many types of commercial and industrial applications. Extenders are used to transmit computer and video signals over short and long distances without the use of expensive and sometimes heavy cables. VGA Extenders transmit VGA video signals up to 1000ft away from a computer using low cost CAT5/5e/6 cable. Each video extender consists of a local unit that connects to a computer and also supplies video to a local monitor and a remote unit that connects to a monitor. Models support high resolutions up to 2048x1536 and are available with audio and RS232 options. KVM Extenders allow a keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) console to locate up to 300 meters away from a computer or KVM installation. The DVI RS232 sends DVI, RS232, and IR signals up to 1000 feet using a single CAT5 and single SC fibre. Video/Audio Matrix Switching
These switchers accept audio/video signals from a range of of input sources such as, computers, cameras, DVD players, TV, etc. - and route the output to many different destinations like monitors, speakers, projectors, plasma wide screens for presentations, training, classroom and video conference facilities.
Video Matrix Switches for analogue VGA video switching.
These video matrix switching products include all of the current technologies used in the market place for switching video sources. Audio/video matrix switches terminated with VGA inputs and outputs used when VGA coax cables can be used. There are simple low cost matrix switches from only 2x2 input/outputs up to larger more sophisticated types up to 128x128 depending on signal type i.e. VGA, Composite video,
s-video and HDTV. Interface to RS232 serial and control port is available on most models.
Matrix switches with CAT5 cabling for long distance routing.
Also video matrix switchers can be configured with CAT5/5e/6 transmitters and receivers. The CAT5 matrix switches allow connection of up to 32 video sources via transmitters and 16 video displays via receivers with a maximum extension of 600ft or 200 metres between local and remote units. This method also maximises valuable space by eliminating hard to manage bulky VGA coax cables. Video quality adjustment is done automatically and will support video resolutions up to 1920x1440, there is no loss of audio or video quality between the CAT5 local and remote units.
DVI & HDMI Video Matrix Switches.
DVI (Digital Video Interface) switches enable high definition digital signals to be switched between computers and video and displays. Due to the high signal integrity of DVI transmission it has been used widely in the video routing in home theatre installations. As the HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) switchers also carry the audio signals, in many cases HDMI is becoming the preferred choice for professional A/V and home theatre solutions. HDMI Matrix Switchers are available from 2x1 to 8x8. Some models have IR remote control and RS232 serial.
