Austin Hughes introduce new SUN compatible NS Series modular integrated keyboard and KVM drawer unit
Austin Hughes Europe has introduced the new NS series slimline 1U LCD and keyboard drawer unit available with either 17 or 19" Samsung Class 'A' LCD panels.
The 19" rack drawer is fully compatible with the SUN Micro Native LCD resolution of 1152 x 900, and the full SUN-compatible keyboard provides a trackball, a 104-key notepad keyboard with full numerical pad and SUN function key support including Stop, Cut, Paste and Compose.
The drawer is an enhanced and updated version of the previous S series, offering improved aesthetics, a new front panel design, single or one man installation rails and a new keyboard with standard numerical pad and the mouse module placed more ergonomically at the lower centre of the keyboard.
The NS Series are available through Ferndown based UK Distributor ITM Components Ltd with either a single USB port or an integrated KVM switch. The KVM options include 8 or16 port USB versions and 16 or 32 ports Cat 5 interfaces with or without IP, which support one or two independent users. The KVM enabled units can be stacked with the CV and U series of rack mount KVM switches to enable access up to 128 servers.
