Ferndown based ITM Components is pleased to announce immediate availability of the Extron DVI 201xi Tx, the latest model in the Extron family of DVI and HDMI products. DVI 201xi Tx is a twisted pair transmitter that enables DVI or HDMI signals to be carried over distances significantly greater than with standard DVI cables. The DVI 201xi Tx transmitter and a DVI 201 or DVI 201 A D Twisted Pair Receiver use two CAT 5-type cables to send single link DVI or HDMI signals over as much as 60 meters (200 feet).
The DVI 201xi Tx offers several features designed to help optimize system integration for DVI signal transmission. These include EDID Minder that automatically manages EDID communication between the input source and the display, automatic input equalization to compensate for losses due to long DVI cables or poor DVI source output, and rack mount capability.
