ATEN's KE8220 eliminates distance limitations, upgrades existing projectors and takes your meetings to the next level
ITM Components announces the addition of the new ATEN ALTUSEN™ KE8220 Virtual VNC Console to its UK product line. This wireless presentation system upgrades existing projectors and generates a cable-free conference environment for multiple presentations. The KE8220 also allows remote access of PowerPoint presentations, images, and other applications via LAN, WAN, or the Internet for real-time display on a projector or monitor.
Cable-swapping and uploading presentation data located on remote computers are serious drags in any professional meeting. "With state-of-the-art technology and security features, it is the ideal solution for real-time, cable-free business meetings or distant training between local and remote locations."
The KE8220 delivers PowerPoint presentations, images, and applications from desktop PCs or notebooks to projectors, LCD panels, monitors or other display devices with standard VGA connectors, and supports SXGA display resolution (1280 x 1024 at 60Hz). About KVM Switches-An Essential Server Management Device
A KVM (Keyboard, Video and Mouse) switch is an advanced, hardware-based solution that allows centralized access to multiple computers easily and conveniently from a single keyboard, monitor, and mouse. A KVM switch is useful in an extensive range of environments, suitable for SOHO users, small and medium businesses, and large corporations. Fundamentally, a KVM switch allows server rooms and data centers to optimize rack space in the IT environment, reducing costs and the clutter of keyboards, monitors and mice. Additional benefits include savings in energy consumption, server racks, cabinets, and floor space. Since a KVM switch provides access to a number of computers from a central location, IT professionals are no longer running from one server to the next, thereby streamlining workflow and increasing productivity. To meet the ever-developing needs of the globalized economy and the Internet, KVM solutions now have over-IP functionality for remote management capability that better fulfills the demands of corporations who need to manage multiple server rooms worldwide. |
