V-Switch quad Simultaneously displays video signals from four computers on one screen
and allows control from one keyboard and mouse
Hetec V-Switch quad simultaneously displays video signals from four PCs or video sources on a single screen and allows control with just one keyboard and mouse. V-Switch quad saves the cost and space required for three additional monitors, keyboards and mice. Several V-Switch quads can be used to simultaneously manage a large number of computers, with faster response times and enormous savings of space and workstations.
Compatible with most types of computers V-Switch quad can be connected to laptops, PCs, Macs and SUN computers. It supports most types of computers and operating systems, USB and PS/2 keyboards and mice.
Video types supported include VGA, DVI and HDMI, up to 1600 x 1200 @ 60 (VGA), up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 (DVI) and HDMI resolutions up to 1280 x 720 @ 50 Hz, 1280 x 720 @ 60 Hz, 1920 x 1080 @ 24 Hz, 1920 x 1080 @ 50 Hz, 1920 x 1080 @ 60 Hz noninterl. Simply use the supplied cables to connect all the computers to one monitor or projector, one keyboard and a mouse. There is no need to install any software.
Quad screen mode splits the screen into four fields of equal size. Each field displays the entire screen content of a video source or PC. Keyboard and mouse operation can be selected to the field of the corresponding computer.
Picture in Picture allows up to three other video sources to be displayed simultaneously as thumbnails on the right-hand side of the full-screen image. Size, position and selection of these thumbnails are customizable. In Triple Tile mode, the active channel and PiPs are automatically resized to display all channels as large as possible without overlap.
In Fullscreen mode, one of the four video sources is shown at full screen size and maximum resolution. Keyboard and mouse operation automatically switches to the corresponding computer.
In Dual mode the left halves of the fullscreen images from two video sources are displayed side by side at full size. This allows easy reading of small text in full resolution and brilliant quality.
Six different ways of switching are provided between video channels and display modes, including: front panel buttons, touch screen, configurable hotkeys, external configuration program on a remote computer, or via a serial port using the protocol DCP XML or mouse functions (Hotmouse)
When combined with a KVM over IP extender, V-Switch quad and the connected PCs, switches and other devices can be controlled remotely via LAN, WAN or IP.
