Aten technology have developed and released two new HDMI video splitters over CAT5. The splitters consist of a 4-port (VS1804T) and a 8-port (VS1808T) splitter producing superior video quality.
Aten VS180xT Series is a one-to-many, point-to-multipoint system for transmission of high definition video and audio, the unit transmits rich multimedia content in real time from HDMI source devices to HDMI display devices over Cat 5e cables. Aten VS180xT series can support multi-displays when combined in an installation with ATEN's HDMI extender.
It provides the flexibility you need for a customized digital signage or HDMI display installation, allowing you to set up your display device 60 m (200 ft) from the HDMI source devices. The unit supports resolutions of up to 1080i and 1920x1080 as well as supporing 3DTV. The unit is also rackmountable.
