A Data Center is where the necessary facilities of computer hardware, security measures, temperature & humidity control and support engineering are provided, before the servers and bandwidth can be used by the organisation. Typical server rooms must provide reliable uptimes exceeding 99.999% and effective administration is required to avoid serious consequences from preventable errors.
Increasingly in tough economic times, many medium sized enterprises are turning towards the latest technology to leverage their small or reduced staff, in an effort to distribute and control the information flow in their businesses. This is particularly important in "mission critical" data centre applications where there is a need to run 24/ 7 and recover from any technical failure extremely quickly.
For these small and medium sized data centre applications, where there are already limited staff and space, it would be impossible in many cases to expand and add multiple monitors, keyboards and mice on each new server, in an already compact server room.

RackDrawers, Panel Displays and Tablet PCs
We can offer a wide range of 1U high Rack and Keyboard Drawers, with a choice of 15 inch, 17inch 19 inch and 22 inch widescreen dispays and keyboard/ mouse styles, to provide the maximum flexibility where rack or equipment space is critical. Drawers can be equipped with or without KVM and with or without keyboard. For higher desity applications such as POS, Industrial controllers and Gaming systems we can configure Single and Quad display LCD display panels and tablet PCs with a variety of interface options and screen types, including low voltage types suitable for mobile applications. To complete the solution we can provide standard and custom sized racks.
CAT5 KVM & KVM Matrix Switch
There is an increasing demand for expansion of corporate server rooms. The innovative design of a KVM switch with the ability to communicate long distances, over convenient and low-cost CAT5 cable allows large numbers of server computers to be managed independently and easily expanded when required. The major advantage of a CAT5 KVM switch is the flexibility to expand point to point systems at low-cost, without the need to use multiple, expensive and bulky coaxial cables.
KVM over the NET
Allows the server computer's user or administrator to easily control a remote computer over the Internet or LAN. In the beginning software such as PC-Anywhere was used to conduct remote control, but the difference between the two is that the KVM Over the Net is User Transparent and OS transparent system architecture. The Server or PC being controlled does not require any drivers or software to be installed in order to operate. Servers or PCs connected using KVM Over the Net can also be turned on or off using the control browser's Power Module
Power over the NET
This is an independent control solution that uses TCP/IP network connectivity to remotely control the power of multiple powered hardware (such as servers, hubs and routers). The server room administrator can use any computer connected to the Internet to remotely execute functions such as shut down, turn on or reset of computers. This product solution saves the user from the high costs of on-site service and typically provides the fastest assessment and recovery to failure.
Serial over the NET
Increasingly, corporate IT administrators have to manage large, multiple, dissimilar and complex IT systems including large numbers of servers, routers, switches and other devices. A Serial IP-based management solution can provide a very effective virtual servicing and device troubleshooting capability, to improve response times, minimise downtime and cut costs. This solution provides efficient central control of servers or other serial IT devices (hubs, routers, power management devices) No distance is Too Far. With TCP/OP connection, multi-users can be securely logged in simultaneously from any computer connected to the Internet, whether it is down the hall or half way across the world. The RS-232 interface allows management of many product types across all brands locally or through dial in Modem access.
Server Environment Monitoring
Environmental threats in server rooms can cause much more serious damage to your business than simple hardware or software problems. All your protection and recovery systems can be rendered useless if your server room overheats or floods. In these tough economic times the cost of energy is also becoming increasingly more significant. Don't ignore environmental threats or waste energy when a solution is available to remotely manage them with a server environment monitoring system or intelligent power distribution control unit. We can assess and recommend a solution to include in your existing data centre or server room or supply it completely intergrated in a new server installation.
Our Server Environment Monitoring System monitors critical environmental conditions, such as temperature, humidity, liquid presence, motion, intrusion, and vibration. When a sensor exceeds a configurable threshold, the system will notify you via email, LEDs, alarm beacon, web page, network management (SNMP), and SMS messages (via external GSM modem).
