The monitoring PDU range features an RMS current meter that displays the TOTAL current consumption of all equipments connected to the PDU. This allows network managers to establish the remaining capacity of the PDU before connecting additonal devices. These capabilities help with capacity planning, improve efficiency of your data centre and help reduce manpower and travel costs by negating the need for staff to actually be on site at the equipment location. For applications that require individual switching of the PDU power outlets the Switched PDU version is available, which does not have the RMS current meter. |
