The switched PDU range features an RMS current monitor to display the total current consumption of equipment connected to the PDU. In addition to this, the PDU allows remote outlet control/ cycling of individual ON/OFF power sockets via a secure simple GUI management interface. These capabilities help with capacity planning, improve efficiency of your data centre and help reduce manpower and travel costs by negating the need for staff to actually be on site at the equipment location. For applications that need the TOTAL PDU current to be monitored, an alternative Monitoring PDU model is available with an RMS current meter. This model does not have individual switching of each power outlet. |
