The ROSE UltraLink range of KVM switches allows you to access your computers from anywhere in the world. The UltraLink acts as a gateway between an existing KVM switch and your publicly available network, providing a link between the two. An IP address can then be assigned to the UltraLink to allow remote access to your servers and clients from any workstation.
You can access your server as if you were standing in front of it, whether from home, work or half-way around the world. The unit is easy to install and configure with excellent security features to prevent unauthorized access.
The UltraLink has a sophisticated console allowing you to work on any servers or clients within a resizable window - you can monitor servers and statistics while you work on other tasks on your workstation. These resizable windows also control the amount of data passed between your workstation and the UltraLink, allowing you to conduct fast updates over slow links because less data is transferred.
The UltraLink is a fully-embedded product requiring no hard disk or complicated operating system, ensuring the highest reliability and availability.
Support for resolutions up to 1280x1024 is provided, with access to not only PC clients and servers but also Sun and other high-resolution computers. For maximum flexibility, you can access the UltraLink through its dedicated serial port for dial-up access over modem. A local KVM port is also featured for access directly at the unit.
