DVI Detective Plus

Computers and HDTV video source devices can sometimes lose the EDID -- basically the electronic identification of a display which lists its possible resolutions and frequencies. When displays are switched away or disconnected and then reconnected, the EDID can be lost and the computer or HD video source device can lose the ability to display the image properly.

USB 2.0 Extender

The USB 2.0 Extender gives you the freedom to connect high performance, hi-speed USB peripherals up to 150 feet (50 meters) from the CPU. VGA & RS232 Extender

DVI Extender up to 300 feet over two CAT-5 cables

The DVI CAT-5 Extreme sender unit sits next to your computer, DVD player or any set-top box. The cable supplied with the DVI CAT-5 MS Extreme connects your DVI source to the sender. The DVI CAT-5 MS Extreme receiver sits next to your DVI display - up to 300 feet away. The display plugs into the back of the DVI CAT-5 MS Extreme receiver. Two CAT-5e cables connect the sender and the receiver units to each other.

Single USB and DVI Extender

The Gefen DVI-1500 allows a single link video signal to be extended over long distances by using multimode LC-LC fiber optic cable. Fiber Optics technology allows the DVI-1500 to carry video signals over long distances that would not be possible with traditional CAT5 extension. The use of fiber optic cabling protects the video signal from electromagnetic interference (EMI) which can degrade the video signal.
