L-com has long carried a popular line of "ECJ" style USB jacks for mounting with a flange that extends above and below the connector. USB mounting option with its new UPMA-LEADS and UPMB-LEADS part numbers. These items use a side-flange to mount the USB jack, and provide 24" long wire leads for custom wiring through panels or enclosures. The new jacks provide mounting options for product designs where there is not enough room above or below the jack to mount the connector. They also come with longer leads than the previous styles, and mounting hardware is included.
The new jackswill be available for immediate order. They will feature 30 microinch gold plating on contacts, 24 AWG UL1007 style tinned copper leads, with one lead connected to the jack shell for shield draining.
