Featuring an outer braid shield plus two foil shields, these cables provide for enhanced protection against EMI (electromagnetic interference). A unique backshell design with overlapping seams coupled with a crimp ferrule strain relief results in both protection against leakage and provides enhanced mechanical strength. This combination of features ensures a highly reliable cable that will pass stringent emissions testing while providing years of trouble free service. Custom modifications are available with modest minimum requirements.
Two foil shields plus one copper braid shield (over 90% coverage) provide low capacitance to maintain the IEEE spec.Designed and built to handle your systems data rate , up to the 1 Mbytes/s IEEE maximum. All technical features found in the L-Com Premium Series are incorporated, the exception being that there is one less shield. This in no way diminished the fact that this series is as good as, or better than, other named brand IEEE-488 cables on the market today.
