The KM0832 Matrix™ KVM Switch gives IT administrators advanced control of multiple servers. Operators working at up to four (eight with model KM0832) keyboard, mouse, and monitor consoles can simultaneously and independently take direct control of up to 32 computers. Housed in a 1U rack and using Cat5 cabling, the unit can be fitted up to 150 meters from consoles and servers.

2nd Tier Administration
Up to7 additional units can be daisy-chained together, each capable of supporting four independant consoles and directly controlling up to 512 computers simultaneously over the same administrative branch. The first KM0432/KM0832 is considered the Master unit; subsequent daisy-chained KM0432/KM0832's are considered Slaves. Each Slave unit's 4 consoles can access and control all of their own ports, as well as all of the ports on all of the switches that are cascaded down from them. |
